I feel like I could help make a positive influence on the server, by punishing and eliminating rule breakers. Also I am pretty good friends with (MOST) Staff and feel like they could help me out when I need some assistance with working commands or "fill me in" on basic tips and tricks. Plus I can easily contact Tom Via skype if I need him. Being on a lot as I have school means I can manage players well throughout the day, and the times I play from what i have seen seem to be the peak time of the server with quite a lot of players on. I think that if I can help rid the community spammers and just all around help people with their needs then the Network would be a better place.
I believe I can bring happiness and joy to the server. I can bring lots of people, and help. I have a really good background of being a staff member. I believe if you choose me, I can bring friendliness and tons of help to all the server.
I think there are many reasons I could list that could make me worth staff. Getting started I would first like to say that I am very honest, outgoing, and hardworking therefore I promise to be kind to every player and staff member, and follow each and every single rule. I do remind other as of right now, what the rules are, if they are breaking them, and sometimes help them make the right decisions. But if they still continue after I constantly remind them I will report them.
I as of right now try and help players whether it is telling them or reminding them of the rules, and or helping or sorting out an argument. In my previous experiences as staff, I never abused. Nor I ever will. I wont treat my friends with specialties, because they to you are another player on this amazing server. Whoever breaks the rules, I don't care if it's a family member, or my best friend. I will report/warn them, without zero regret, because even though I am close with them, they still broke the rules. Rules are rules, and I try my best to help others realize this too, or there will be consequences. I also believe that I can make a change and or impression on other players. I like to inspire and desire players. I think if I get this opportunity I would be able to help many people.
Getting into strict detail of why I think I could be fit for this position is I think I could bring more happiness and joy to the server. I also believe I can bring more friendliness to the server, as well. I am a very trust worthy and active player, so therefore I believe I would make a great fit as a helper. I would love to help players with problems so the server isn't problematic.
Seeing as I have plenty of time on my hands, I will be more capable to fill in those times that no staff are on. This is great for when other staff members need to go to sleep or school - My time zone will also be great for this, as I am generally on whilst there is a lack of staff - due to their real life priorities.
I am not too familiar with commands, but I am a very quick learner and I will be able to fully understand how to handle certain situations with the correct commands and fairness. With the Prison rules, general commands and the item usage knowledge - I am highly familiar with and I consistently help those who ask how to use certain commands
I want to be staff because I enjoy helping people! I’ve heard lots about CatalystCraft and I would love to make loads of new friends here. and I want to return back to the staff team and continue helping! I can help detect hackers which I have done numerous times while being staff. Some hacks have dead giveaways such as killaura which essentially locks on to the target and swings frame perfectly (Tries to.) It hits everything that comes into range as soon as it can.
I really don’t like rulebreakers, possibly the one I hate most are caps spammers. Now this might seem odd. You might be saying, “Why don’t you hate hackers and people who swear and scam.” Well I don’t like them either, but I find spammers to be the most annoying in my opinion. Hackers can be dealt with as they are usually fairly obvious to experienced players while people who scam are easily dealt with by reporting them and you can get your items/money back. People will always swear, it is part of people’s vocabulary, while we might not like it, it will always be there. However, spam, creates this congested sea of white characters which makes it almost impossible to pay attention to anything else. Imagine if the whole chat looked like this, “[Member] markbyron: TP TO ME FOR A COOL SHOP!” Eventually everyone would stop caring about chat because of how spam filled it is that when a new player joined they would probably instantly leave because of how the chat looked and if that didn’t turn them away, if they were confused about something and asked in chat it would be ignored or never seen making them frustrated and leave the server.
I wish to stop rule breakers, sometimes when I come onto the server, there aren’t staff on and people take that as an invitation to start swearing in chat and abuse people. This is unacceptable and should not be happening in the first place. Even when there are no staff on we should all be mature enough to recognise that the rules are still in place and should still be followed. However, since I know that there will always be some immature people, I believe that being staff would allow me to have a greater impact on how the community interacts and behaves with each other.
I can make a difference on the Network because I am willing to help anyone in need of assistance. I am a really helpful guy in real life so I would not switch the way I act over Minecraft. I have some building experience and I think my builds look fine but everyone has their own taste. I have a big range of things I can build but I just have to put my mind to it. I feel like I am a good role model because I am a nice guy and people have told me that I am fun to talk to me because of my personality. I will follow all of the server rules but I have only been warned once and it was because I "spammed" but I only said a message twice. I am willing to be flexible and strict at the same time by enforcing the server rules and expectations. I will NOT abuse my permissions because there is not a need to abuse them because I would be grateful to be a Helper. I would not be willing to risk my position as staff by abusing my permissions
I think I could make a difference on CatalystCraft as a helper because I have played for a while now and know all the rules. I have found many people InGame asking for help I help them and they get what they asked for or people swearing, and I ask them to stop and they do, which is nice as I'm not staff yet they still respect me when I ask them to do something that's not allowed. I do try my best to help the community, even when I don't know the answer to something I try to figure it out for them. I believe in fairness so if my friend or a family etc does something like caps or swears, I'll still warn them as it would be unfair if I didn't just because I know them. I make sure everyone gets what they need when they need it. I like to take my job as staff seriously but at the same time I like to have a joke-around with players, just so they know that I can be respectable but do my job at the same time!.
Whenever a player needs help, a staff member is almost never available. Even though I am not a helper, I try my best to help a player who needs assistance or I give directions to where a particular area is. When players in chat are behaving inappropriately, the Staff is almost never on to control it. It would help if a lot more of the Staff were online everyday, but sometimes it's impossible due to their Time Zone or if they have IRL activities to attend to. My frequent activity on CatalystCraft will solve that problem.
I believe I have enough knowledge and experience on CatalystCraft to help anyone who needs assistance or guidance. Over the past year, I have known what to do on each server. I know what shops are available, what the principle of each game mode is, and the rules. I also have experienced enough to know what the proper punishments are and the severity of it. It is also of course, based on the severity of the rule broken.
Not only that I view being Helper/Staff is a job/responsibility, I view it as a privilege. Whether it's in real life or on CatalystCraft itself, I love to help people, regardless if it's challenging. It hurts me inside knowing that the person who is struggling isn't getting the proper help he/she needs. My sense of urgency to help people is what makes me who I am.
I think that I would make a difference on the server because I am extremely dedicated and I put in hours upon hours of time into the server, which if I were helper, I could spend creating and ensuring the environment is clean from advertisers, spammers, and excessive caps/swearing. I also take full credibility for all of my actions regarding InGame matters, and am able to sort out problems quick and efficiently no matter what the situation be. Another reason that I would make a good staff member is that I know every rule, and every punishment that comes with breaking each individual rule.
